Fundraising Accomplishments

The Wings of Hope Global Cooperative is building on accomplishments secured by founder David Weeks working in collaboration with generous and community minded individuals, the St. John’s United Church of Columbia, Maryland, the Fund for the Future of Our Children Foundation in Washington D.C., Qiagen Sciences Inc. of Germantown, Maryland and the Glenelg Country School and its community in Ellicott City, Maryland.

These accomplishments have evolved as partnerships with former students and parents of students from the Glenelg Country School, who have a passionate interest in supporting the welfare of others in the countries of their heritage. The accomplishments associated with Kenya, Ghana, Guinea and Myanmar have all reflected this collaboration. The anticipated educational scholarships for girls and women in Pakistan have been inspired by Mr. Weeks’ enlightening, educational journey to Pakistan in the summer of 2023 and his passionate interest in advancing female educational opportunities in that country.
