Annual Maasai & Safari Adventure in Kenya

June 16–30, 2026

Join Wings of Hope Global Cooperative for its annual small-group journey to Kenya in the last 2 weeks of June. It blends Maasai cultural immersion, and safari travel and public health work. This experience is limited to five participants and is focused on building relationships, respect, and partnership.

Thank You Donors For Vision Office Equipment!

Thanks to donor support, Wings of Hope President David Weeks is pleased to report that diagnostic vision equipment for the vision office in the Osiligi Medical Complex for the Maasai in Kenya has been purchased. Presently a local carpenter is preparing the vision office to receive a slit lamp, ophthalmoscope and tonometer. Clouded vision of the Maasai in this rural community has compromised their independence and ability to be self-sufficient. Hopefully with continued donor support, Wings of Hope will be able to help a local ophthalmologist to have the ophthalmic surgical equipment to help restore visual acuity to those in need. Visit the Wings of Hope website: www.supportwingsofhope.org to donate online and help prevent vision loss.

Total: $6750.00

Past Fundraising Projects & Current Partners

Prior to the establishment of the Wings of Hope Global Cooperative, David Weeks helped fundraise for the Osiligi Hope Foundation in Kenya to complete the construction of the Osiligi Medical Dispensary supporting maternal services and the Osiligi Medical Complex housing a dentist office, vision office and a pharmacy.

In Kumasi Ghana, prior to the Wings of Hope Global Cooperative, Mr. Weeks helped to support the establishment of two container buildings housing vocational programs in sewing and digital design for the Salih Self-Development Center nonprofit. As the Salih Center chose to expand its vocational training in carpentry, electrical work, welding and plumbing for youth, David Weeks also helped in the fundraising to purchase two acres of land, install a well and construct a caretaker cottage on property in a suburb of Kumasi.
