Wings of Hope Maasai Beaded Craft Display

by | April 30, 2025 | Kenya, Perspectives

David Weeks was invited to display and sell his Kenyan Maasai beaded crafts at the Glenelg Country School World Cultures Celebration on March 25. He showcased the beautiful craft work that he is selling to help support the household expenses for Maasai women, whom he has come to know as the President of Wings of Hope. Additionally, he demonstrated on his computer a virtual interior tour of the proposed Osiligi Maternity Hospital. Many Glenelg Country Lower School faculty and parents were exposed to the ways Wings of Hope is supporting the Maasai people in Kenya. Their questions about Wings of Hope’s humanitarian work and their purchases of beaded items were appreciated.
